Swati Adhikari

Responsibilities

Swati serves as a Graduate Assistant for Global Online Engagement. She supports the activities and initiatives of the Global Engineering, Engagement and Research Office, develops and implements the office’s Global Ambassadors Program and supports online engagement.

Education

Swati holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from University of Mississippi. She is currently working on her Master’s in Computer Science at Virginia Tech.

Background

Swati is originally from Nepal and she first came to the US to pursue a higher education in 2016. During her undergraduate studies, she was actively involved with the International and American Student Alliance (IASA) and Nepalese Students’ Association at Ole Miss (NEPSA). She has gained extensive experience in her field through internships with global engineering companies. She aims to represent women in tech and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the engineering workforce.
