Responsibilities

Abu is a Graduate Assistant for the Center for the Enhancement of Engineering Diversity. He serves as an instructor for the Galileo seminar for first year engineering students. 

Education

Abu earned his B.S. in Computer Engineering in 2021 with a focus in Networking and Cybersecurity. He is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Information Technology.

Background

Abu is from Brooklyn, NY. His first experience with CEED was under the BEST mentorship program. Additionally, Abu has been very passionate about diversity on campus and has been involved in several leadership programs during his undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech such as Summer Academy, NSBE, Gateway, and LEAP.
