Olivia Gedra

Responsibilities

Olivia is an AMP scholar and a graduate assistant for CEED, and she is serving as the Galipatia coordinator. She is responsible for being a point of contact for Galipatia mentors and mentor liaisons as well as facilitating GLT events. 

Education

Olivia received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Virginia Tech in the spring of 2023. She is currently pursuing her accelerated master’s of science in Biomedical Engineering. 

Background

Olivia is from Fairfax Station, Virginia. She has previously been a member of the CEED program through Hypatia and the Female Engineering Recruitment Leadership (FERL) team. She was involved in undergraduate research and is using that experience to carry over to her graduate research in micro-electromechanical systems.
