Director of College Scholarships

Responsibilities

Jennifer is the Director of College Scholarships for the College of Engineering and is responsible for managing scholarship-related operations within the College. In addition to providing strategic oversight of the scholarship program, she will manage scholarship accounting and the planning, selection, and notification processes for scholarship awarding.

Education

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (2001) and a Master of Education in Post-secondary Administration and Student Affairs (2005), both from the University of Southern California.

Background

Jennifer joins Virginia Tech from Washington and Lee University where she had served as the Associate Director of Financial Aid since 2010. Prior to her time at Washington and Lee, she held various positions at the University of Southern California. Initially hired as a Financial Aid Counselor, she was promoted to the Assistant Director of Records and Operations and then to the Senior Assistant Director of Need Analysis and Appeals for the USC Financial Aid Office. She also worked within the USC EMBA Office as Assistant Director and within the USC Sonny Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering as a Student Services Advisor.
