Responsibilities: 

Supports the development of high impact academic, professional, and personal programs for traditionally underrepresented graduate students in the College of Engineering. Serves as a liaison for the college at national conferences and as additional support for graduate recruitment efforts. Responsible for the implementation of the New Horizon Graduate Scholars Program, Peer Mentoring Groups, CEED Ambassadors and GEM Fellows programs among several others. Also, responsible for building community relationships and curating larger spaces for professional development such as the Synergy Conference.

Background: 

Dr. Jennings has an extensive background working with community non-profits and local government. Her prior work in higher education has been dedicated to creating spaces to assist students in their holistic development in order to ensure academic success. She is also an ordained clergy member and is a board member with several organizations committed to bridge building and reconciliation.
