Amanda Mizerak

Undergraduate Intern - GEER

Responsibilities  

Amanda serves as the Global Engineering Intern for the Office of Global Engineering, Engagement, and Research (GEER). In her role, she serves as a liaison between the Global Engineering Ambassadors (GEA's) and the GEER office. Amanda supports the promotion of international opportunities for engineering students by organizing tabling events, leading information sessions, and coordinating Ambassador activities.  

Background 

Amanda is a senior from Bethlehem, PA studying Industrial and Systems Engineering. She has been to 18 countries and is passionate about helping students find the best global experiences to fit their needs. After her freshman year, Amanda participated in the Rising Sophomore Abroad program where she was a part of the Australia and New Zealand Cohort. She is also a part of Industrial and Systems Engineering Ambassadors, Student Alumni Associates, and Alpha Delta Pi. Amanda has also held internships with Victaulic and General Motors. In her free time, she enjoys going to F45, traveling, and exploring Blacksburg with her friends. She can’t wait to see how the Global Engineering Ambassadors grow this year!
