Amanda Mizerak

Responsibilities  

Amanda is serving as the Global Engineering Intern for the Office of Global Engineering, Engagement, and Research (GEER). She serves as a liaison between the Global Engineering Ambassadors and the GEER office. Her main responsibilities include managing scholarship applications, coordinating tabling events, and submitting Student Engineering Council funding proposals.  

Background 

Amanda is currently a junior pursuing a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. She also holds an Operational Analytics certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers. In the spring of 2023, Amanda was a participant in the RSAP cohort to Australia and New Zealand where she got to experience many different aspects of what engineering looks like in other countries. Overall, Amanda is very passionate about helping students find experiences abroad and she is looking forward to working with the GEER team and the Global Engineering Ambassadors this year.
