Responsibilities

As Associate Director of Major Gifts, Kelli is involved in the planning and implementation of major gift fundraising efforts in support of College priorities including current operations, endowment, capital and other projects.  Kelli works with alumni, parents and friends of the College to explore and facilitate gifts that both align with the interests and passions of the donor as well as advance the strategic priorities of the College.

Education

Kelli holds a B.S. in Finance and International Business from Penn State University as well as an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.   

Background

Kelli joined the Virginia Tech community in 2021 following a diverse career that encompassed finance, business development, product development, small business and non-profit management.  She began her career at General Electric and was Director of Product Development for Comcast.  Most recently, Kelli was Director of Development for an arts non-profit serving central Appalachia.  Kelli is passionate about the arts and currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Moss Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech.
