Cynthia Hampton

Graduate Assistant for CEED

Responsibilities

Cynthia is a Graduate Assistant in the Center for the Enhancement of Engineering Diversity.

She is part of the support staff for the Galileo and Hypatia Living/Learning Communities and is responsible for teaching the Hypatia seminar for first-year participants.

Education

Cynthia received her undergraduate degree in Biological Systems Engineering from Kansas State University in 2011. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in Biological Systems Engineering and her doctoral degree in Engineering Education.

Background

Cynthia joined the CEED team in May 2013 after practicing as an environmental health consultant. She has been heavily involved in the outreach, recruitment, and retention of diversity populations since her days at Kansas State University.
