Christina Martin

Responsibilities:

Christina directs the College of Engineering Clark Scholars Program and coordinates CEED's Student Transition Engineering Program (STEP) for incoming engineering freshman. Christina works closely with students in engineering to provide individualized academic and personal support.

Education:

Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Radford University. She holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction in Integrative STEM Education from Virginia Tech and a K-12 Computer Science Endorsement from the University of Virginia at Wise.

Background:

Prior to coming to Virginia Tech, Christina was a K-12 educator for 17 years for Giles County Public Schools. Christina has a passion for helping students make a successful transition from high school to college.  Her greatest enjoyment is meeting with students and celebrating their small successes.
