Letticia "Tish" T. Ramlal-Lamble
Dr. Letticia Ramlal-Lamble, who goes by Tish is a native of Trinidad and Tobago but has lived in South Carolina for 20 years prior to Virginia. She earned a PhD in Educational Research and Program Evaluation from Nova Southeastern University, her M.S. in Industrial Statistics from the University of South Carolina and her B.S. in Computer Science from Claflin University. Prior to Virginia Tech, Tish worked in Institutional Research for over 15 years where she was the Assistant Director of Institutional Effectiveness in the Division of Planning, Assessment and Information Technology at Claflin University; the Accountability Reporting Manager in the Department of Institutional Research, Planning and Information Management at the College of Charleston; and a Research Analyst in the Office of Planning, Assessment and Institutional Research at Trident Technical College. She also taught undergraduate online and face-to-face statistics courses at Claflin University and Trident Technical College. Tish will be serving as the Director of Assessment and Data Analytics for the College of Engineering at Virginia Tech applying her demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience concerning data analysis, the distribution of statistical reports to external agencies and college constituents and the core function of institutional research and higher education research. Her passion is working with numbers, interpreting data, and teaching statistics. She also likes to garden, cook Caribbean food and take her puppy Watts on adventures.
