Julia Hallworth

Responsibilities

Julia will be serving as the Galipatia Committee Liaison Coordinator and will be helping out with the Female Engineering Recruitment Leadership (FERL) Team.

Education

Julia recently graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering and a minor in Green Engineering at Virginia Tech. Julia is currently pursuing an accelerated MS in Civil Engineering in the Environmental and Water Resources Program.

Background

Julia is from Rhode Island. She has been involved with CEED since her freshman year at Virginia Tech through Hypatia and FERL. She has also served as a mentor within the community and as the Service Learning Committee Liaison. She was also the Vice President of Engineers Without Borders and worked in Undergraduate Research focused on water sustainability at Virginia Tech.
