College of Engineering Welcome Session & Academic Success Session
Dates: August 19, 20, 21
Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM & 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon
Location: Burruss Hall Auditorium (H-3 Building 176)
Description: You will hear from the College of Engineering Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Career and Professional Development, Office of Academic Integrity, and Student Engineers’ Council to learn about expectations and necessary resources to be a successful student as you begin classes on August 24. Immediately following the College of Engineering Session you will be required to attend an Academic Success Session from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon in Burruss Hall Auditorium. This session will cover habits and tips for success, time management, support services, change of major, finding your classes, etc.

Only attend one session based on the following:

Description: Pick up your free Student Engineers’ Council padfolio and other giveaways. Chat with advisors, faculty, and staff from all undergraduate engineering programs, explore Goodwin Hall, enjoy snacks, and have fun!

2:00 PM - Last Name A-L (not participating in Engineering Peer Mentoring or Engineering LLPs)
2:30 PM - Last Name M-Z (not participating in Engineering Peer Mentoring or Engineering LLPs)
3:00 PM – Engineering Peer Mentoring Students (regardless of last name)
3:30 PM – Engineering Living Learning Community Students (regardless of last name)
Missed the Social: Pick up any remaining padfolios on Tuesday from 11:00-12:00 a.m. or Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in Whittemore Hall Room 328.
