Rebecca “Becky” Langford

Assistant Director of Graduate and Professional Studies

Responsibilities

Becky works with the Graduate and Professional Studies team to advance the College's strategic plan by collaborating with COE graduate programs to build a strong graduate student support community, developing college-wide recruitment strategies, coordinating events, and optimizing program operations.

Education

Becky received a Master of Education in Higher Education from the University of Missouri in 2013 and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in History from Washington and Lee University in 2011. She is currently working on a PhD part-time at Virginia Tech in Higher Education.

Background

Becky has been working with graduate education at Virginia Tech since 2017, most recently with the Innovation Campus as the Assistant Director of Enrollment Services for Professionally Oriented Graduate Programs. Prior to that, she was a graduate program coordinator for the Translational Biology, Medicine, and Health Graduate Program.
