Responsibilities

Haritha is a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Center for the Enhancement of Engineering Diversity. She is responsible for teaching the Hypatia seminar for first-year participants. Along with that Haritha, is one of the graduate student leads for the International Student Support Team where she guides a group of 9 students with targeted support for international students in the College of Engineering.  

Education

Haritha received her undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech Spring 2021. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Computer Engineering.

Background

Haritha joined the CEED team in August 2021 as a graduate student after completing her undergraduate degree. She has been involved with the CEED community since her Freshman year as a First-year Hypatia student. During her undergraduate study Haritha was involved with outreach, CEED summer camps and undergraduate research. She is passionate about working with women in engineering and providing them a welcoming inclusive environment for engineering collaboration.
