Responsibilities
Kim coordinates CEED engineering outreach programs including BLAST, Imagination, C-Tech2, BEE VT, and Women’s Preview Weekend.
Education
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the College of Santa Fe.
Background
Kim grew up on a dairy farm in upstate New York, and practiced veterinary medicine there. After a move to Albuquerque, New Mexico, she switched to teaching, primarily middle school math and science. She is passionate about making K-12 students aware of all the possibilities that a STEM career offers, especially for underserved and underrepresented communities.
