The Dean of Students office provides several partners on campus and throughout the region available to support students from food assistance to medical care.

Bursar's Office

This office manages student financial transactions including tuition and fee payments. Any questions related to your tuition and fee bill and/or payment options should be directed to this office. Financial Wellness

Attend workshops on budgeting basics, credit reports and scores, debt management strategies, and loan repayment methods. Financial coaching is also offered through this office.

Market at Virginia Tech

Designed to provide food assistance to students who, for whatever reason, have a hard time obtaining regular, healthy meals.

Office of University Scholarships and Financial Aid

This office manages grants, scholarships, and loans that are applied to your tuition and fees. Visit this website or location to learn more about the cost of attendance and financial options you may have available.

  • Students should also file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which will apply them for all federal aid if eligible. 
  • Students receiving in-state tuition should become familiar with the 125% Rule; click the video link under the menu titled 125% Rule for In-State Tuition

Student Emergency Fund

If you are in need of immediate support and have no other remedy, please consider applying for a Student Emergency Fund grant through the Dean of Student's Office.

Veterans Affairs Educational Benefits (GI Bill)
