College of Engineering Welcome Session 

New student welcome.

Dates: August 16, 17, or 18, 2023
Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Location: Burruss Hall Auditorium (G-4 Building 176
Description: You will hear from the College of Engineering Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Director of Advising, Director of the Office of Undergraduate Academic Integrity, and Student Engineers’ Council to learn about expectations and necessary resources to be a successful student as you begin classes on August 21.

Only attend one session based on the following:
Move-in prior to August 16
, attend Wednesday, August 16 (except for Corps of Cadets)
Move-in on Tuesday, attend Wednesday, August 16
Move-in on Wednesday, attend Thursday, August 17
Move-in on Thursday, attend Friday, August 18
Corps of Cadets, attend Friday, August 18
Transfer students not living on-campus, attend Friday, August 18
First Time in College Students not living on-campus, attend Friday, August 18

College of Engineering Social

Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Location: Goodwin Hall/Lawn (G-2 Building 136)
Table Locations:  Goodwin Hall/Lawn Table Locations Map
Description:  Pick up your free Student Engineers’ Council padfolio and other giveaways. Chat with advisors, faculty, and staff from all undergraduate engienering programs, explore Goodwin Hall, enjoy snacks, and have fun!

Arrive based on the following:
2:00 PM - Last Name A-L (not participating in CEED Peer Mentoring or Galapatia)
2:30 PM - Last Name M-Z (not participating in CEED Peer Mentoring or Galapatia)
3:00 PM - CEED Peer Mentoring Students (regardless of last name)
3:30 PM - Galipatia Living Learning Community Students (regardless of last name)
