Minors Within the College of Engineering
A “minor” is a group of courses from a particular discipline/specialty area. Checksheets (or a list of all required courses) for all minors offered at the university can be found on the Registrar's website. The College of Engineering minors and requirements to declare each minor are listed below.
To officially declare a COE minor, students must complete the COE Minor Application, which is available at the end of spring, end of summer, and end of fall. Specific dates can be located here: https://www.eng.vt.edu/em.
