Quincy Houk is from Chesapeake, Virginia, and is a senior in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a 3.64 GPA. He says the best thing about being a Virginia Tech Engineering student is that you get the best schooling with amazing, like-minded peers. When Quincy was in middle school, he dreamed about making millions in any kind of math field. Now that he is at Virginia Tech, he dreams about working with some of his peers to open his own business someday soon with the skills they have acquired. Quincy says if he could change one thing, he would get rid of political and corporate corruption, so that everyone may aim for a workplace full of honor and integrity.

Currently, as a member of Alpha Sigma Phi, he is involved with several philanthropic and service-related activities each semester such as fundraising or helping with yard-work around town. During his free time, he enjoys working out, fishing, watching movies, and spending time with his friends and family.

Quincy mentioned that his father is his number one role model because he has no lazy bone in his body. Quincy Stated, “From as far back as I can remember, he has always been hustling and putting forth his best effort into his work. I strive to be like him someday.” He also says his favorite cartoon character is Shaggy from Scooby Doo, because he is the most underrated and skillful member of the team, and always uncovers the mysteries.
