Recognizing Scholars in the College of Engineering
The purpose of the CEED’s Outstanding Student Award is to showcase exceptional students who have demonstrated exemplary academic, professional, and personal developmental success during their time in the College of Engineering at Virginia Tech. Nominations for students are made by the CEED administrators each month.

- Academics: Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or above at the time of nomination.
- Student Engagement: Students must have been active participants/leaders within CEED or College of Engineering organizations. Supplemental involvement with external (community service/professional) organizations may be considered as well.
