"Wherever you go in life, the perfect path isn't found. It's made."

Camille Sai, a sophomore from Tampa, FL, is diving into her B.S. in Building Construction with a minor in Real Estate at Virginia Tech, all while keeping up a stellar 4.0 GPA. For Camille, the best part of being a Hokie engineer is forming friendships and building a network with people who share her professional and personal goals.

Camille stays busy and engaged on campus. She’s involved in the CEED mentor program, attends the Help Me Help You program meetings, and serves as the secretary of the Building Goodness Foundation. Through this foundation, she helps organize construction projects that benefit the community and supports other non-profits with their initiatives.

When she's not hitting the books, Camille loves to bake, cook, stay active at the gym or through intramural sports, and travel. Family is important to her; she has two sisters, a dog named Evie, and three chickens. Winnie the Pooh is her favorite cartoon character because he’s kind, always smiling, loves honey, and doesn’t worry about what others think.

Camille looks up to her parents, who have shown her that anything is possible with effort and integrity. Following their example, she dreams of owning her own design-build company one day, creating structures that leave a lasting legacy. On a more personal note, she wishes everyone could just get along, regardless of their background.

With her passion for construction, strong work ethic, and dedication to her community, Camille is set to make a meaningful impact in her field and beyond.
