Amanda Mizerack
Amanda is currently a junior pursuing a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. She's from Bethlehem, PA and is passionate about traveling, cooking, exercising and sports. At Virginia Tech she is currently the Recruitment and Public Relations Co-Chair for Phi Sigma Pi, was a member of the Galipatia Living learning community, and plans on getting more involved in Greek life this semester. She also holds an Operational Analytics certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers.
Curently, Amanda is serving as the Global Engineering Intern for the Office of Global Engineering, Engagement, and Research (GEER). She serves as a liaison between the Global Engineering Ambassadors and the GEER office. Her main responsibilities include managing scholarship applications, coordinating tabling events, and submitting Student Engineering Council funding proposals.
Traveling is one of Amanda's biggest passions and she has been to Canada, Spain, Italy, France, Malta, and the Caribbean. She was also a part of the 2023 RSAP Cohort to Australia and New Zealand. Overall, Amanda is very passionate about helping students find experiences abroad. She is hoping to study abroad in Ireland in 2025 and looking forward to working with the GEER team and the Global Engineering Ambassadors this year.
