Valerie L. Hiemer

Valerie is a junior at Virginia Tech majoring in Chemical Engineering. She is from Ramsey, New Jersey and enjoys cooking, spending time with friends, watching sports and going to country concerts in her free time. At Virginia Tech she is involved in undergraduate research and AIChE peer mentoring. Valerie is excited to participate in the Unit Operations Lab this summer in Bochum, Germany and start her study abroad experience! She is very passionate about expanding her international travel and can not wait to share her knowledge as a member of the GEA team!
