Joseph Lichtenstein

Joseph Lichtenstein is from Reston, Virginia, and is a sophomore in Civil Engineering with a GPA of 3.60. He says the best thing about being a Virginia Tech engineer is the challenges it offers.  When he was in middle school, he aspired to become an engineer. Joseph said if he could change one thing, it would be the negative division in the world today.

Since Joseph has been at Virginia Tech, he’s been a volunteer/member of e-Nable. In his free time, Joseph likes to read. Joseph says his role models are the people involved in the rockets in the space race from the engineers, mathematicians, and site-workers, to the pilots themselves they got to go at it over and over like Edison until it succeeded. Joseph has one sibling, and he also shared that growing up, his favorite cartoon characters were all of the characters that appeared on Cartoon Network from 2005-2013. He also mentioned that his favorite genre of music is everything but country western.
