Noah Taliercio
Noah Taliercio, a rising sophomore pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science at Virginia Tech, is a driven and curious individual with a GPA of 3.93. Hailing from Santa Cruz, Bolivia, Noah comes from a family of high achievers, including his older sibling Luke, who recently graduated from VT and is now working at SpaceX. Despite the distance, Noah's heartwarming connection to his hometown remains strong, as he looks forward to visiting his beloved beagle, Sherlock, whenever he can.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Noah is an avid weightlifter, finding both necessity and catharsis in the sport. He also enjoys indulging in hobbies like playing poker and watching TV shows. As a fan of cartoons, Noah particularly admires Dipper Pines from Gravity Falls, identifying with the character's boundless curiosity and love for puzzles.
Looking to the future, Noah dreams of combining his passion for problem-solving and computer science to tackle financial puzzles in the stock market. As he immerses himself in Virginia Tech, Noah actively participates through a Conversation Partners program, where he aids non-native English speakers. Moreover, he has taken the initiative to co-found HokieStone Core, a finance club with a strong focus on engineering students pursuing careers in finance.
While Noah's ambitions lie in conquering financial puzzles through the lens of computer science, his broader dream for the world revolves around improving education and enhancing the quality of schools worldwide. Inspired by his parents' success and dedication to education, Noah aspires to make a positive impact and foster a brighter future for generations to come.
