Industrial Engineer, Lockheed Martin
Kojo graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Industrial Systems Engineering. He currently works as an industrial engineer for Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas on the F35 program.
"Not only did the Clark scholarship provide me with the financial aid to pursue a bachelors degree, it also provided me with a group of likeminded individuals with similar backgrounds. The scholarship allowed me to pursue all my interest during my collegiate career without the concern of financial responsibilities."
Nicolas Barreras
System Engineer, Newport News Shipbuiling
Nicolas holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Virginia Tech in Aerospace and Ocean Engineering with a major in Ocean Engineering. He is excited to work as an ocean engineer as it allows him to stay close to family while also working in a STEM field.
Andrew Chan
Associate Software Developer, Capital One
Andrew graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Computer Science. He is working with Captial One as an Associate Software Developer. His work includes working on machine learning pipelines.
Aisha Diallo
Aisha graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. She has worked as a designer in residential and land development for Mcadams. She is currently purusing Masters of Environmental Studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
Nicky Huynh
Software Engineer, AnaVation
Nicky graduated in May 2022 with a degree in Computer Science. Currently. His title is associate software engineer at AnaVation. AnaVation is a small government contracting company that supports federal government customers across the national security space. He works with other software engineers on sensitive projects for the government. His role as a government contractor involves activities like using and building software systems, software testing, and automation.

Project Engineer, Timmons Group
Aisha graduated from Virginia Tech with an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering. She currently works as a project engineer for Timmons Group in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She is interested in global and sustainable design.
Jacolby Washington
Civil Analyst, Kimley-Horn
Jacolby graduated from Virginia Tech with an undergraduate degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is currently a Civil Analyst (Civil Engineer-in-Training) at Kimley-Horn. He helps develop site plans, performs stormwater computations, designs utility profiles, and implements erosion and sediment control measures.

"Being a part of the Clark Scholar program at Virginia Tech was truly an honor. The program had a positive impact on my academic and social life at Virginia Tech as it introduced me to some of my best friends and school resources throughout college. The Clark Scholar program gave us an avenue to bond through social events, create study groups, and share advice to others on how to succeed in college.
