Major: General Engineering
Mohamed is from Sterling, Virginia and is interested in majoring in Computer Engineering. Mohamed is interested in cyber and plans to minor in Cybersecurity.
Nathan Abraha
Major: General Engineering
Nathan is from Springfield, Virginia, and is interested in majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He has a passion for cars and loves to work with his hands. He would love to one day work for Mercedes as a component designer and tester. Nathan also enjoys helping his community and has been part of many service groups in Northern Virginia.
Jasmine Alabi
Major: General Engineering
Jasmine is from Ashburn, Virginia and is interested in majoring in Computer Science. She is very passionate about programing and would love to work for Amazon or any other big coding companies as a software engineer. Jasmine also enjoys dancing and watching documentaries.
Brent Anderson
Major: General Engineering
Brent is from Tazewell, Virginia and is interested in majoring in Computer Science. He is very intrigued by the possibilities that AI and computer programming have introduced. He intends to work at corporations like Microsoft in the future. In his free time, Brent enjoys studying other languages and reading books about mythology. He participated in the 2023 FBLA state competition in Computer Science and Cybersecurity.
Aubree Brandt
Major: General Engineering
Aubree is from Charlottesville, Virginia and would like to major in Computer Engineering. She is passionate about computer system architecture and cybersecurity. She dreams of working for a well-established technology company such as Microsoft. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.
Brandon Duong
Major: General Engineering
Brandon is from Blacksburg, VA. He is planning on majoring in computer science. Outside of school he likes to do boxing.
Alan Fernandez
Major: General Engineering
Alan Fernandez is planning to major in Electrical Engineering. In his free time he likes to workout, go fishing, playing any and all sports, and loves watching movies and anime.
Carlos Garcia-Sotelo
Major: General Engineering
Carlos is from Roanoke, Virginia and wants to major in mechanical engineering. He is very passionate about cars and would like to craft/design his very own engine for a new car. Carlos also enjoys math. He also went through an apprenticeship program in his high school senior.
Matthew Gilbert
Major: General Engineering
Matthew Gilbert is from Martinsville, Virginia. He would like to major in mechanical engineering. He is interested in mechanical engineering because it gives him the opportunity to be creative in a way that can positively impact the lives of others . In the future, he would love to work at Boston dynamics because of how they help others and create interesting designs. Outside of school he enjoys playing sports with friends and finding scenic views.

Aisha is from Alexandria, Virginia and is interested in majoring in Computer Science. She is passionate about increasing exposure and access to STEM for underserved populations. She also enjoys baking, crafting, reading, and spending time with friends.

Nyssa is from South Riding, Virginia and is planning to major in Computer Science. She loves spending time with friends and family, going outside and traveling. Nyssa has always been interested in engineering and coding.
Zoie Mills

Zoie is from Roanoke, VA and is planning to major in Aerospace Engineering. She also wants to minor in Computer Science and possibly Political Science. Her ultimate goal is to work for NASA like her idol Katherine Johnson did. Her hobbies include crocheting and listening to music like KPOP and R&B.
Alexander Obando
Major: General Engineering
Alexander is from Falls Church, Virginia, and is interested in majoring in material science engineering. He is very interested in how the properties and structures of materials affect products and would like to learn about nanoscience in the future. Alexander also enjoys listening to music and meeting new people.

Jaasiel Orellana is from Woodbridge, Virginia and is planning to major in Computer Science. He is passionate about software development and hopes to work for a FAANG company in the future. He likes to play soccer and hang out with friends.
Kaayla Osborne
Major: General Engineering
Kaayla is from Stafford, Virginia and is interested in majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She is interested in electromagnetic waves and hopes to research sound waves through different methods. Kaayla loves music and art. She performed in New York City in Spring 2023 with her choir and received a gold plate.
