Purchasing Portal Update: Portal is now LIVE. There is a known issue with account creation on the site. Please email your Name, Email address and Phone Number to brian.quinn@cdwg.com and he will create an account for you.
You are not required to purchase your computer from Virginia Tech.
Be sure to carefully evaluate the warranty options from retailers to make sure you are getting Accidental Damage protection. The best warranties come from the computer manufacturer, rather than a third party.

We now have a portal you can purchase machines from directly. These laptops are pre-screened and chosen to meet the VT Engineering computer requirement. You will need to create an account on the site to get the VT student discounted prices:
