"With drive and a bit of talent, you can move mountains." - Dwayne Johnson

Karim Said is from Cairo, Ohio, and is a senior in Computer Engineering with a 3.68 GPA. He says the best thing about being a Virginia Tech engineer is that you get to meet a lot of great professors. When Karim was in middle school, he wanted to be a doctor, but then he fell in love with technology. Now that Karim is at Virginia Tech, he dreams about starting his engineering firm. Even if he could change one thing, he would not change anything and he would continue to improve himself in all aspects he can.

Currently, he is involved in undergraduate research, and he tutors younger levels. In his free time, he enjoys lifting weights and playing football.

Karim mentioned that his role model is Dwayne Johnson because of his work ethic, and he says his favorite cartoon character is Goofy because he has a positive outlook on life. His favorite film is Jumanji and he enjoys listening to country music.
