Carynne Posey

Carynne Posey is from Lynchburg, Virginia, and is a junior in Electrical Engineering - Controls, Robotics, and Autonomy major with a 3.65 GPA. She says the best thing about being a Virginia Tech engineering student is getting to learn from and work with such great professors and students.

When Carynne was in middle school, her dream was to study a field related to robotics. Now that she is at Virginia Tech, she dreams of having a career as an electrical engineer in automation.

During her freshman year, she participated in the CEED peer mentoring program as a mentee, and currently, she is a member of SWE. In her free time, she enjoys playing guitar and figure skating.
