Isabella Kane

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step"

Isabella R Kane is from Ashburn, Virginia, and is a sophomore in General Engineering with a 3.60 GPA. She says the best thing about being a Virginia Tech engineering student is the culture that Virginia Tech has. When Isabella was in middle school, she dreamt about being a fashion designer. Now that she is at Virginia Tech, she dreams about starting her own business. If Isabella could change one thing, she would change the mental health resources quality and access at every university.

Currently, she is involved in CEED freshman mentoring program and she enjoys playing tennis and reading in her free time. Her favorite genre of music is pop and her favorite film is Crazy Stupid Love.

Isabella mentioned that her role model is her mom because she is a hard worker and self-sacrificing. Isabella also mentioned that her favorite character is Gumball Waterson because he has a kind and adventurous personality.
