Chemistry

You will participate in classroom experience that is similar to what you will experience in your first semester, meaning you will have homework and tests on chemistry material you can expect to see in your first semester at VT. 

Mathematics

You will receive intensive mathematics instruction designed to refresh your skills in the basics necessary for success in engineering fundamentals and calculus.  

Engineering Education

You will have the opportunity to become familiar with engineering tools and have a chance to apply problem-solving techniques to typical first-year engineering problems as well as project teamwork similar to what will be expected in your first-year engineering courses and beyond.
