Randolph Send Off
Friday, October 13, from 4-6:30 p.m.
Randolph Hall
Did you have a class in Randolph Hall? Did you learn how to use power tools in the Frith Lab? Perhaps you met your best friend or spouse in class or while studying in the lobby. At the end of the academic year, this engineering building will be closed up and prepped for demolition – so it’s your last chance to say a final goodbye!
Join us for this family friendly event. You’ll be able to walk the halls one last time, take a peek into your old classrooms, and snap a photo with the building you fondly remember!
Cornerstone Alumni can add Randolph Send Off to their tailgate registration for an additional $5.
Homecoming Parade
Friday, October 13, at 7 p.m.
Beginning at Lane Stadium through downtown Blacksburg and ending at the Drillfield
After you say your final goodbyes to Randolph Hall, head downtown for this beloved annual tradition. During the parade, different organizations and individuals will be highlighted. It will begin on Washington Street, travel down Main Street and Alumni Mall, ultimately leading attendees to the Drillfield for fireworks!
Engineering Tent at the Homecoming Tailgate
Saturday, October 14, starting four hours before kick-off
Holtzman Alumni Center
Make plans to tailgate with us before the Hokies take on Wake Forest! Registration includes food and drinks. Guests will enjoy lawn games, music, a petting zoo, inflatables, and more.
As part of the tailgate, join the Virginia Tech Engineering Tent, where alumni and friends will gather. Interact with faculty and students attending, as well as see a number of our incredible student design teams and their projects.

Young Alumni Homecoming Happy Hour

Kick off Homecoming Weekend at Hokie House with a young alumni happy hour. Reconnect with friends and get Homecoming started right. Your registration fee includes two drink tickets and appetizers.
