Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026 6-8 p.m. Join us for a happy hour social event at Olde Salem Brewing Company on 21 East Main Street in downtown Salem on Thursday, January 22 from 6-8 pm! If you are a VT alum in the Roanoke/Salem area who received a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or Engineering Science and Mechanics... we want to see you! We will gather for tasty food, drinks and exclusive Virginia Tech ME giveaways. Attendees will enjoy a great time to network with other ME alumni, mingle with the department, and spend time with ME faculty and students coming to share exciting news about Senior Capstone Design projects!

Feb. 3, 2026 6-8 p.m. Bingo Beer Co. 2900 West Broad Street Richmond, VA 23230 Calling all Virginia Tech Computer Science alumni in (or near!) Richmond, Virginia! We’re bringing Hokie spirit to the River City for an evening of networking, reminiscing, and good times. Join us for a relaxed happy hour at Bingo Beer Company, where you can reconnect with fellow Hokies, swap stories, and enjoy Richmond’s vibrant local scene.

Thursday, February 12 from 6-8 p.m. Social House 25370 Eastern Marketplace Plaza South Riding, VA 20152 The Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering will host a happy hour for alumni and friends in the Arlington and Washington, D.C. area! Registration is $10 and includes your first round and appetizers as well as a $5 gift to the ISE Department Annual Fund. Your $5 gift and any additional gifts added at check-out will count as a Giving Day gift.

Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026 6-8 p.m. Back by popular demand - another NRV alumni gathering! It's a Valentine's Week "Love a Hokie Engineer" Event! Join us and fellow mechanical engineering alumni for our second NRV social event on Thursday, February 12 from 6-8pm at JH Bards Distillery in Blacksburg. Convenient street parking and next door at Kent Square Parking Garage. Catering provided by Cabo Fish Taco!
