    Oct. 16, 2026 5-6:30 p.m. Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech Celebrate Homecoming with the College of Engineering at the Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech. Join fellow alumni, friends, and family for a relaxed reception in the beautiful lobby of the Center for the Arts. Enjoy the opportunity to meet Dean Dixon, learn about his vision for the future of the College of Engineering, and reconnect with fellow Hokies while taking in the energy and excitement of Homecoming weekend. We invite you to join us on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at the Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech. At the conclusion of the event, guests are invited to step out onto the lawn to enjoy a view of the Homecoming Parade as it makes its way along Alumni Mall toward the Drillfield.

The series features a diverse group of speakers, including academics, industry leaders, technologists, venture capitalists, and representatives from defense and technology organizations. Guest speakers also include distinguished ECE & CS alumni.
