Apply to the Dean's Team

The College of Engineering Dean's Team is a prestigious group of highly motivated, dedicated, and spirited undergraduate students who assist the College of Engineering with its recruiting efforts by volunteering for approximately 10 hours/semester. 

Some of these activities include: Conducting daily (Monday – Friday) Engineering Information Sessions from 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. on a rotational basis to prospective students and their families;  Serving on a student panel for an Admissions Open House event (there are two programs in the fall and two in the spring);  Assisting with the College of Engineering Open House in March/April;  Hosting individuals and groups by talking about campus life and the resources available to College of Engineering students.

Individuals selected for the Dean's Team will participate throughout the 2021-2022 academic year with the availability to assist during the summer months if possible.  (Summer school attendance is not required).  Each member of the Team will receive a College of Engineering shirt to wear during recruiting events and a special recognition to be awarded at a dinner hosted by the Dean of the College of Engineering at the end of the service period. A majority of our Dean's Team returns year after year, until they graduate! Once you're on the Dean's Team, you do not have to reapply.

In addition to serving as ambassador for the College of Engineering and providing an important service, the Dean's Team is a fun way to network with faculty members, alumni and other students within the College.  (It's also a great way to build your resume in the area of service and university involvement!)

After the applications have been reviewed, you will be contacted for the next round of interviews, which will be held April 11th – April 15th  if selected.
