Advanced Manufacturing Team
The Advanced Manufacturing Team is a community of researchers, students and industry leaders dedicated to the advancement of manufacturing performance and global competitiveness. To insure that innovation and achievement is sustained, this team is equally dedicated to the education and development of future manufacturing leaders by offering hands on learning and real-world experiences.
The Advanced Manufacturing Team (AMT) boasts a strong presence in the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CCAM), a deep manufacturing knowledge base, and a notable record for manufacturing research accomplishments.
Because the challenges associated with manufacturing are multi-faceted, the College of Engineering has carefully built its Advanced Manufacturing Team based on the tenants of collaboration and innovation. At the heart of the Advanced Manufacturing Team are faculty carefully chosen based on complimentary skill sets, research expertise, and a mutual desire to work in a highly, collaborative environment.
