Tutoring and Study Skills
There are numerous tutoring options for engineering students, as well as support for developing strong study skills. The information below lists departmental resources for tutoring and study skills support.
Tutoring
The resources are categorized by courses taught within the college of engineering (Engineering Courses) and courses taught outside of the college of engineering (Non-Engineering Courses). Each course pre-fix will have a list of available tutoring options that may be within the department teaching the course or through another college or university-level program. The majority of tutoring options are free, however, those with a fee associated are marked with an asterisk (*).
In addtion to the resources listed below, Virginia Tech has also partnered with Knack, a platform enabling students to book course-specific peer tutoring services. View the Student Success website to learn more about this service.
