Distinguished Alumnus: Pete Fox
Pete Fox ’89, M.S. ’93 is the chief operating officer of Identity Digital, bringing more than 30 years of experience as a growth and turnaround leader. Throughout his career, he has successfully guided domestic and international organizations through complex transformations. Prior to joining Identity Digital, Fox served as chief information officer at CIBT, where he played a key role in positioning the company as the world’s largest and most established provider of travel visa and passport services.
Earlier in his career, Fox was senior vice president of engineering, product development, and mergers and acquisitions at Network Solutions. In that role, he led two major acquisitions and supported two company sales. He also held senior leadership positions at Lockheed Martin and General Electric.
Fox’s experience includes leading large-scale distributed network and web-based applications, as well as global marketing and e-commerce platforms. He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech.
