Technology Commercialization and Industry Partnerships

Through LINK, the Center for Advancing Industry Partnerships, the university strives to connect great companies with great opportunities. From industry engagement to intellectual property management, LINK draws upon Virginia Tech's deep bench of people, research, programs, and infrastructure to streamline the path to partnership and technology commercialization. 

Funding and Sponsored Programs Management

Researchers in the College of Engineering have access to a variety of resources through the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation as well as the Office of Sponsored Programs. Together these two offices offer everything from training resources and compliance tools to project management software - and more.

Research Computing

For projects that involve large data sets and require specialized computational resources, researchers have access to several advanced computing environments on the Virginia Tech campus, including high-performance computing (HPC) systems.
