TJ is a Graduate Assistant for the Center for the Enhancement of Engineering Diversity. He serves as an instructor for the Galileo seminar for first year engineering students. He is also involved as the Engineering Instructor for the CEED Student Transition Engineering Program (STEP).


TJ earned his B.S. in Computer Engineering with a focus in Software Systems and a minor in Computer Science from Virginia Tech in 2021. He is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in Engineering Education.


TJ has been working with CEED during his entire undergraduate career, starting as a mentee for the Galileo program his freshman year, then becoming a mentor his sophomore and junior year, and finally assistingĀ in creating the TA role for Galipatia during his junior and senior year.
