Background

Nathan was raised in the small town of Middletown, VA just a few hours up I-81. At Virginia Tech he is a community leader, learner, and achiever. He began in the Galileo Engineering LLC and remained in what is now Hoge Hall for his second year as a mentor and inVenTs Studio leader. As a Pamplin Scholar, he taught Honors College motivational seminars to a breadth of university students. Nathan is the author of a motivational novel, Transcend: a guide to realize and maximize your potential, and is passionate about inspiring others to live a purpose-filled life. He is one of four brothers, one of which also attends Virginia Tech. His hobbies include intramural sports, exercising, and flying his Cessna 172.
