As one of the country's larger ECE departments, The Bradley Department offers strong education and research opportunities in diverse areas, including computers, control systems, communications, electronics, electromagnetics, power, space systems, machine learning, and photonics.

The ECE Department's 85 faculty members have a reputation for being accessible to students. They teach more than 300 classes and develop about a dozen new courses each year on emerging technologies. The department grants about 45 Ph.D., 100 M.S., and 230 B.S. degrees each year.
