Matt will be serving as a liaison between the alumni, development office, and departments of the College of Engineering as we strive to meet our mission of providing excellence in engineering education, research and public service. His duties include the cultivation and stewardship of leadership gifts to the College of Engineering.
As a member of the football team, Matt graduated from Liberty University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a Master of Science in Sport Administration in 2012.
Matt joins the College of Engineering after serving Virginia Tech as a Central Gift Officer for the past year and a half. A Hokie by birth, Matt’s dad is a ’79 graduate of Pamplin College of Business. Matt has always loved Virginia Tech and his passion for Hokie Nation grew even more 7 years ago when he and his wife, Caitlin relocated to the New River Valley while he was working for Special Olympics Virginia as a Director of Development.
