Lynette Lucas

Responsibilities

Lynette serves as the Financial Analyst for the Dean’s office in the College of Engineering. She provides assistance with financial and human resource functions within the Dean’s office. Lynette’s analytical role includes reviewing and interpreting University policies to assure compliance.

Education

Lynette holds a Bachelor of Science in Business degree with a major in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech and an Associate of Arts & Sciences degree in Business Management from New River Community College.

Background

Lynette came to Virginia Tech in 2001 and has worked in several financial and administrative roles in the College of Engineering and the College of Architecture before coming to the Engineering Dean’s office in 2008. Prior to coming to Virginia Tech, Lynette spent 20 years working in administrative and financial roles in Health Care.
