Deborah is responsible for developing comprehensive and mutually beneficial relationships with corporate and foundation partners to provide bottom-line benefits to industry, plus support the priority needs of the College of Engineering, its departments, centers, faculty, students, and programs


Deborah is a native of Lynchburg, Va., and a graduate of the University of Georgia and Indiana University's Center on Philanthropy


Deborah Stevens Hamilton is a native of Lynchburg, VA. Her development career spans nearly 30 years during which time she has served as vice president of two local United Ways and executive director, consultant, and fundraiser for several not-for-profit agencies. Most recently she served as grants writer and capital campaign staff for Young Harris College in Georgia, development director at the University of the Virgin Islands, and development director at The Northcross School in Roanoke,VA.
