Deb Eason

Global Engagement Specialist


Deb serves as the Global Engagement Specialist at the College of Engineering. She provides assistance with the development, implementation and administrative support of international initiatives at the College of Engineering.


Deb holds a BA from the College of William and Mary in Anthropology, a teaching license from George Mason University, and a certificate as an Independent Educational Consultant from the University of California at Irvine. She has also done graduate level study in Geography and Regional Science at George Washington University.


Prior to joining the Global Engineering, Engagement and Research Office at the College of Engineering in 2015, Deb spent 20 years as a teacher. She grew up overseas and later taught in international schools in Oman, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Jordan, and Hong Kong.
