Christjahn works as the Graduate Assistant to the Office of Global Engineering, Engagement and Research (GEER).
Christjahn received two Bachelor’s degrees from Iowa State University in Political Science and Religious Studies, where he also worked as a research assistant for Biblical Studies professor Dr. Hector Avalos. Following graduation he worked as a Legislative Aide in the Iowa House of Representatives. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the Virginia Tech Center for Public Administration and Policy, in addition to a Graduate Certificate in Biblical Studies.
