Adrien DeLoach

Graduate Assistant, CEED


Adrien is a Graduate Assistant in the Center for the Enhancement of Engineering Diversity. He is part of the support staff for the Galileo and Hypatia Living/Learning Communities and is responsible for teaching the Galileo seminar for first-year participants. 


Adrien received a B.F.A. in Graphic Design and an M.A.Ed. in Student Affairs from Western Kentucky University in 1999 and 2006, respectively.  He is currently working on a doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration through the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. 


Adrien joined the CEED team in August 2013.  Although he is new to the staff, he is familiar to Virginia Tech, having served most recently as an Associate Director in the Office for Diversity and Inclusion. Adrien brings with him a wealth of higher education experience and has worked with various departments such as the Office of Admissions, Housing and Residence Life, University Centers and Leadership Programs, and Multicultural Services on a number of campuses.
