We are renowned in transformative broad research areas that include computer science and health sciences, but more specifically areas of bio and tissue engineering, translational cancer research, cybersecurity, blockchain, artificial intelligence, data science and analytics, and machine learning, and more
New positions were identified to bring talent to the college's teaching and research focus areas. New faculty are welcomed by approximately 400 instructional faculty, 170 staff, 9,000 undergraduate students, and 2,200 graduate students that span the Blacksburg campus and Washington D.C. metro area facilities.
